Our story
Kalendervenn started with a simple observation: many elderly people struggle to keep track of everyday life, and family members want to help but lack good tools. We experienced this firsthand through multiple caregiver roles — for grandparents, parents and other close ones.
At the same time, we saw that nursing homes spent a lot of time administrating and communicating activities. Information rarely reached residents and family in a good way. This is how the idea for both solutions was born: Kalendervenn Hjem for individuals, and Kalendervenn Arena for institutions.
Kalendervenn is a Norwegian technology company developing digital tools to make everyday life simpler for the elderly and those around them. Our goal is to create more well-being and save time on unnecessary tasks — both at home and in institutions.

Carl J. Nesset
Cofounder & CEO
Experience from multiple caregiver roles and close dialogue with healthcare professionals laid the foundation for Kalendervenn. Carl combines personal experience with a technology background to drive the development of solutions that actually make a difference in the everyday lives of the elderly and their families.
Svein Arne Nesset
Cofounder & CTO
Responsible for the technical development of the Kalendervenn platform. Experienced in building scalable and user-friendly solutions in health and care.
